Happy Anniversary to Me
Today is the third year in a row that Ben and I aren't together on our anniversary. It's been seven years since we started dating.
I had looked forward to this anniversary all week, even though we won't get to see each other. I smiled a lot and told people. But today there was no bounce in my step.
These days need to be celebrated with the one you love. In this case, the best I can do is give myself a day off from running and make food. The baked potato was good, but I should have thought of dessert.

Brady, I can tell that you are a little bummed about this right now, and as hard as it is, you have to look toward the future. In the end, I am sure that it will all be worth it.
On a more cheerful note...you are a celebrity back in your home town of Tracy, MN. You made the front page! It was a nice surprise to get the paper and see a picture of you along with a neat article. ( :
