Welcome Here: Good Wishes

The premise for this blog was to ramble on about post-college life in D.C. The latter part is coming to an end. Not yet, but soon.

I have four months left in the political capital of the world. And I know that I'll be ready for the next big thing. I'm already preparing for what comes next -- another job, a wedding, a fresh start with Ben.

Ideally, Ben and I would like that to happen in Minnesota. We want to return to a place we love and be close to our families.

Today, Ben had his third set of interviews with a private equity firm in Minneapolis. He should know in the next few weeks whether he got the gig. He has the first round of interviews at another firm soon. I have yet to start interviewing, but I'm putting out feelers -- letting people know about the possible return and my interest in being a journalist in one of the best cities this country has to offer.

If you have a chance, I'm requesting good wishes and/or prayers -- whichever you're willing to give. So if you have a moment or two, think good thoughts for us.
