Leaving on a jet plane

OK, folks.

In about 15 hours, I will step off that jet plane and into the heart of Washington, D.C.

Until then, I have to:

-shower
-blow dry my hair (my least favorite thing in the world to do, maybe)
-sleep for a few hours (wake-up call is at 3:30, baby)
-haul two tubs and two suitcases, plus carry-on luggage, to the airport
fly
-land in chicago, where i will re-check in because this stupid one-way ticket has me flying two different airlines
-get on another plane
-land in D.C.

So this isn't the most intelligent post in the world. I promise that will change. I'll get smarter living in D.C., right? Besides, I'd rather post something lame than nothing at all. My fans (ok, I'm the only regular reader of this blog) would be disappointed if I ignored them, even for a day.
