Taking a breather

Yesterday was the Super Bowl for political journos. I worked past midnight updating blurbs on the Senate races. I drank lots of coffee, sat by the good ol' boy editors and prepared for a long night.

I'm still wired from the excitement. But I'm tired, too, and need a break at night. So I'm going to depart from the blogosphere for a few days. I'll be back next week. During the interim, I'll continue checking e-mail like a mad woman.
